Lisa Raynes – Giving voice to smaller architecture practices.
I qualified as an architect over 20 years ago and during this time have worked in innovative and market leading practices in Manchester and further afield. I’ve run my own practice for the past 10 years, and run the Pride Road Architects franchise for 5 years.

I’m passionate about broadening access to architecture which is why earlier this year I co-founded Sheroes of Architecture with Sara Kolata, a 3 day international conference for women at all stages of their career.

In my view it’s time for the RIBA to bring the needs and wishes of smaller practices to the fore.
A vote for me as RIBA Councillor is a vote for an architect-centred platform that stands for:
- Maximising the impact of smaller practices
- Seeking to retain female architects in the profession
- Valuing the economic resilience of small domestic projects
- Promoting healthy work-life balance for architects
- Leveraging the power of the RIBA brand to benefit all members
